Valerie is constantly seeking ways for students to connect with classic literature through technology and social media. Valerie has recently discovered the power of Google in the high school English Language Arts classroom which has allowed her to create an environment that engages students in critical thinking while encouraging cross curricular learning. As a result, the students are having so much fun that they are challenging each other to delve deeper and deeper into the text. Valerie has taught English at Rundle College for thirteen years and is a recent Google convert. Both she and her students cannot imagine the classroom "BG."
